Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

We have crafted these Terms and Conditions to ensure seamless collaboration by clarifying our affiliate partnership requirements upfront.

Please review the entire agreement. By enrolling in the Onsen Harvest Affiliate Program, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this agreement. Furthermore, you affirm that you possess the full right, power, and authority to enter into and be bound by the Terms and Conditions without the approval or consent of any other party.

※ Important notice: Currently, we can only consider applications from registered businesses or independent contractors who can furnish us with a monthly invoice for services rendered as affiliates.

Affiliate Program Terms and Conditions

Onsen Harvest is an affiliate manager plugin developed, owned, and provided by the Japan registered legal entity Bit.inc.

Hereafter, the term “Onsen Harvest” shall encompass both the plugin and the legal entity behind it.

1. Registration

Your application to become an Onsen Harvest affiliate is subject to manual review to ascertain compatibility. The review process may take up to 5 business days, and you will receive an email notification of our decision.

By becoming an affiliate, you consent to receive occasional emails from Onsen Harvest regarding changes to the affiliate program Terms and Conditions, as well as relevant news, updates, or other information pertinent to you as an Onsen Harvest affiliate.

You must provide accurate information about yourself, your business, and the website(s) or platforms where you intend to promote Onsen Harvest.

Reasons for rejected applications include, but are not limited to, websites or businesses that:

Promote violence, discrimination, sexually explicit materials, copyright and trademark infringement, spamming, scamming, or any other illegal activities
Include “Onsen Harvest”, its variations, or misspellings in their domain name
Mimic or resemble our website design (explicitly or impliedly) in a manner that leads customers to believe you represent Onsen Harvest or any affiliated business
Resell any of our products
Are not aligned with our business standards or are inappropriate for the products we offer

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and we reserve the right to decline applications at our sole discretion, without providing a reason for rejection.

2. Commissions and Payouts

The standard commission rate is up to 30% of each new Onsen Harvest license purchase made by customers through your referral link. Commissions are applicable only for the subscription’s initial payment. No commissions will be generated for recurring subscription payments.

The standard cookie duration is 30 days. Therefore, customers have a 30-day window from the moment they click on your affiliate link to decide whether to purchase Onsen Harvest. If they purchase after the cookie has expired, commissions will unfortunately not be credited (unless they use your affiliate link again).

Furthermore, the commission will be attributed to the first affiliate whose link was clicked (provided the purchase is completed within the 30-day window).

Example: If a customer clicks on your affiliate link first and later uses another affiliate’s link when making the purchase decision, the commission will be credited to you.

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee, so we only pay commissions that are older than 30 days and are not subject to refunds.

The minimum payout is 100 USD. Payments will be made in USD to your bank account monthly, between the 15th and the last day of the month. To comply with our regulations, you must provide an invoice reflecting the respective amount due for that month by sending it via email between the 1st and 14th day of that month.　Bank transfer fees are the responsibility of the affiliate.

Example: If by March 31st, you have 250 USD in accepted and unpaid commissions in your balance, you send us an invoice for the 250 USD between April 1st and 14th. We will transfer the amount to your bank account between April 15th and 30th.

If you prefer to accumulate a higher amount before requesting payment, you may wait up to 3 months before invoicing us.

You are fully responsible for complying with any laws and taxes applicable to you in your country of residence as a result of providing affiliate services to us.

We reserve the right to modify our standard commission rates at any time and for any reason. You will be notified via email 30 days in advance of any such changes.

All commissions are subject to approval before being paid out. Each commission’s status will be available in your affiliate program dashboard as “Pending”, “Unpaid”, “Rejected”, or “Paid”.

Using your own affiliate link to purchase Onsen Harvest is prohibited.

3. Promotion Permissions & Restrictions

The following promotional methods are permitted:

Directly sharing your affiliate link with friends or potential customers interested in Onsen Harvest.
Writing a review on your blog or website about Onsen Harvest and linking to our product with your affiliate link (or other provided creative asset).
Writing an article on your blog or website on a subject related to affiliate marketing and linking to our product with your affiliate link (or other provided creative asset).
Using your social media accounts to share your affiliate link with your audience (note: ensure this practice is permitted by the respective social network and complies with their Terms and Conditions).
Promoting your affiliate link in emails, provided the recipient is already a customer or subscriber of your services or website and has the option to opt out of future mailings.
Mentioning your affiliate link and/or discount code in podcasts.

We do not tolerate certain promotional methods and will terminate your account if you engage in such activities:

Spamming (in any form or on any platform/channel, including but not limited　to: unsolicited promotional email, mass commenting on websites, posting your affiliate link on groups and forums where it’s not permitted, sending unsolicited direct messages, etc.)
Misrepresenting our brand and product in any way (including but not limited to: misleading customers or using false information about our product, using fake testimonials, pretending to be an employee of Onsen Harvest or representing yourself as such, concealing or misrepresenting your identity or affiliation with our business, etc.)
Using paid advertising for your affiliate link
Placing your affiliate link and/or discount code on any coupon websites

This is not an exhaustive list, and we reserve the right to terminate your account if we find your promotional activities inconsistent with our business values.

If you are unsure whether a particular promotional method is acceptable, please contact us in advance for confirmation.

Account Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice via email.

Additionally, we reserve the right to terminate your account at any time and without prior notice if we determine that you have violated any Terms and Conditions of this Agreement. Any pending or unpaid commissions resulting from your breach of our Terms and Conditions will be withheld.

Final Note

By registering and being approved as an affiliate for the Onsen Harvest Affiliate Program, you agree to adhere to the Terms and Conditions outlined herein.

You acknowledge that you are an independent contractor and that the affiliate relationship does not constitute an employment relationship between you and Onsen Harvest (“Bit.inc”). Furthermore, you have no authority to make or accept offers or representations on our behalf.

You agree that this relationship is not legally binding, and as such, you may not take legal action against Onsen Harvest (“Bit.inc”). Lastly, these Terms and Conditions are subject to change, and you will receive advance notice of any such changes. You have the right to opt out of our affiliate program at any time by notifying us via email.
