Mitori Farm, located in Motegi Town, Haga District, Tochigi Prefecture, specializes in growing the region’s signature strawberries: “Tochiotome” and “Tochiaika.” This farm won the Gold Prize at the first Strawberry Championship hosted by the Japan Vegetable Sommelier Association.
Due to their delicate nature, fully ripened strawberries are difficult to distribute through regular channels, leading to approximately three tons of discarded fruit annually. To reduce waste and promote sustainability, a special extraction method was developed to create “Tochigi Strawberry Fruit Extract B,” a key ingredient in this bath powder. This approach transforms excess fruit into a valuable skincare ingredient, delivering a people-friendly and eco-conscious product.
