Crafted with meticulous care, Teyakido Senbei is a testament to quality craftsmanship. Made from domestically sourced rice, including rice from Shizuoka Prefecture and locally grown rice from Izu, each senbei is painstakingly hand-fired over charcoal at our storefronts. This hands-on approach ensures that every senbei boasts a unique crunch and color, indicative of its artisanal creation process. We pay equal attention to the seasoning, using soy sauce from Shoda Shoyu Co., Ltd., and carefully selecting the size of the sugar granules. In fact, for our plum-flavored senbei, we use powdered plums sourced from the local Izu area.
